How about this one instead? I like the wide, dark, wool lapels, and the tweed pattern is more subtle than the above, I'd say.🤔

For a jacket that'll last the kid about a year of they're lucky? That's wild!

Oh yes, I didn't realise it was for 6 to 7 year olds. I thought it looked a bit of an odd shape, now I know why. After the 6 to 7 year old becomes an 8 to 9 year old, the parents could sell it and hopefully get about 300 quid for it!😏

Daughter #3 has just got engaged and is discussing wedding plans.

I've told her firmly no brown shoes with blue suits like at my niece's wedding. That left me feeling nauseous all day.

The Donegal tweed is nice but the lapels are like something a drug dealer in Shaft or KoJack would wear.

Well yes, exactly! I was in a pub late on Saturday night, having a birthday drink, with boxing on tv in the background, when I looked up and saw this bloke in what I immediately thought was a 'pimp' coat! Then the camera zoomed in on him, showing it was the former boxer Chris Eubank. The coat was made of dark brown leather, double breasted with a belt and this massive fur collar! I thought wow! that collar certainly tops that coat off, where did he get it from I wonder?!!! Not being a fan of using animal fur, I wondered if there was such a coat out there with a wool collar. OK, the coat I posted isn't leather (that's a plus) and it isn't double breasted which is a bit of a minus, but it's more subtle than Eubank's coat, which is a slight plus!😉

So Accy your look is the extremely well dressed older gentleman who favours bolder colours not some punch drunk ex boxer who dresses like a pimp.
I currently have 15 suits but I’m jealous of your Cordings suits I wish I had the disposable income to splash out on a couple.

I think the coat is styled in a late 1920's, early 1930's way. Those pockets are 'bellow(s) pockets', synonymous with that era.

Its described as 1930’s style because it looks like copy of something done to a poor standard.
