I can’t be bothered looking up those particular shoes, but Herrings tell us that some of their shoes are indeed made by Northampton makers like Barkers, Cheaney and others, depending on the right maker and price for that style.

Edit, the brogues shown above are listed as from Portugal, no slouches when it comes to shoe making. Remember, shoes weren’t invented in Northants, and Shock, Horror, Goodyear welting is an American invention.

Well yes, Portugal, and Spain where I think those black and white brogues are made are reputable shoe making countries.
