https://uk.nps-solovair.com/products/s8-551-pur-g The Solovair leather is better than DM's leather, according to reviews of Solovair shoes and boot, saying it's soft and supple. Unlike the harsh, cardboard like DM's leather. Mind you, they aren't going to post reviews saying DM's leather is better, are they!!🤔

You can watch Rose Anvil pull one apart and tell you exactly how they're superior to DMs in pretty much every way.

You are 60’s plus male who dresses as a country gentleman, show me where Doc martins are part of that style. I think you are trying too hard to get noticed and get peoples reactions.
If you are desperate to get comments just forget to wear your trousers the next time you go out😂

Look at the Trickers web page for shoes to go with tweed, there’s usually stuff in the sale.
I got these half price.

Most of the time I’m slobbing about in a pair of Levi’s tee shirt and fleece however when we go out myself and Mrs W I do try to make an effort. However the clothes I wear are about what makes me feel good not what others might thing look good. In the picture as I look down at my trousers and shoes I think bloody hell that’s looks good.
I do however get approached on occasion by mainly men who comment on my clothes or my moustache in a positive way.
Which drives the gorgeous Mrs W to distraction.

I like the burgundy ones, but I wouldn't pay £595 for a pair!

I could be tempted for half price, maybe as "seconds" or good secondhand. But £600 is a lot especially as I have a lot of shoes already. I did have a a pair of Trickers semi-brogues and whilst they were nice enough I didn't really think they were 600 quid shoes (mine were much cheaper off ebay). By contrast I think Crocketts genuinely merit that price bracket.

Monkey Boots were a staple of Suedehead style, not Skinheads, and Skin girls wore DM shoes and/or tassel loafers.
I’ve fancied a pair , I’d probably go black with red laces rather than oxblood with yellow.
