I unboxed the pink linen Cordings jacket last night, almost 6 months after buying it. I bought it in early January for almost half price, along with a tweed and linen lightweight jacket also almost half price. I bought them with the intention of wearing them in 'hot' weather and seeing as it's been sweltering for the last week or so I decided it was time to wear the pink linen one having worn the tweed/linen jacket for the first time last week.

I wore some lightweight wool Italian trousers and a Panama hat with it. The hat might not go too well, but it was either the one in the photos or the 'tobacco' Panama I mentioned the other day, seeing as it was far too hot today to wear fur or wool felt fedoras!🥵☺️ That shirt looks ok with it, but I do prefer a tie as well, but again, far too hot today to wear preferable items.

I have a pair of baby pink chinos. I must find them to wear as they are somewhere on my must be four foot high ironing pile! Having been put there after being washed, at the end of last summer.😉

My original point was that coloured/dyed Panama hats can bleach/fade in strong sunlight.

I disagree. Only tobacco itself is a natural tobacco colour. Panama hats in tobacco colour have been dyed to look like tobacco colour, just like blue Panama hats are dyed, pink Panama hats are dyed, red Panama hats are dyed, and so on and so on.
