Yes, constructive criticism it's called. Look at this short video below. Would you like such videos and their comments banned? I post photos of myself on this thread, plus my suggestions for what I might buy. Sometimes I get quite a bit of stick, which I always pass off with a 😎 emoji. Do I ask for those comments to be banned? No, I certainly don't!

Who then wear them to go shopping in supermarkets etc. Some couples even wear matching 'dry robes' either with crocs or wellingtons when out shopping!😏

That isn't constructive criticism, it's just slagging people off for what they're wearing.

As for banning comments or videos? Nope, that's not what I'm about, and my comment didn't actually single you out in the first place.

Do you think I should get one of those waterproof robes for winter? Instead of wearing it like robe, i can wear it like a coat. So ill have to size down one or two.

There are a lot of women who wear them to the rugby, occasionally men. They do look warm, but they lack any kind of style.

Are these for me, yes or no?!🤔🧐 I think there's a pair of plus fours or plus twos in the retro clothing shop I work in. They were there a few years ago when I tried them on, fitting perfectly. Obviously If I bought those below or the clothing shop ones I'd need a pair of suitable wool socks and garters.🧐

Sadly the ones in the retro clothing shop I work in have been sold! I asked the shop's owner today about them. He told me that a bloke bought them the other month, wanting them for a role in a 'local TV production'!

What do you reckon about this coat? I saw it today in the above shop. It looks a bit big, but bear in mind I only had a shirt under it. Maybe with a thick jumper or jacket it'd fill out more. It's very heavy and has a detachable lining, plus a genuine fur detachable collar. The shop's owner said it's probably ex army. It's for sale in the shop for £38, with the owner saying with staff discount it's £30 to me.🤔

My late wife always told me I had no dress style
Yesterday I thought, if want a decent reasonably stylish cold weather jacket...I always like Barbour so off down the shops (an actual shop !, Frasers)..Barbour Powell quilted jacket, cheesed me.off because S were £179, M (the one that fits me) was £199...and L were £179. So that irked.me, basically fleecing the customer with what I assume is the most common size.
So home, looked online, same shop sell the M for £163 !!!
Duly ordered, customer collect, but wheres the logic ?..Any wonder the high street is struggling ?

Mod is an easy style to wear into middle age. Look at the basics and it was old mens clothes adopted by the youth.
Ivy League stuff - polo shirts, oxford button downs, madras, golf jackets, chinos, selvedge jeans, desert boots, penny or tassled loafers .... its just stuff that would fit in at the golf club as well as in a jazz/soul club.
Avoid rocking up in a tight shiny tonic suit and red, white and blue bowling shoes and its all good.

I feel the dry robe hate is one of things that's gained momentum and so people pile in on it. I cant really think of anything thats less worthy of note than someone choosing to wear a warm waterproof garment outside, if they want.
