Back in 1973, a pal of mine had a Mini Cooper S; twin petrol tanks, Indianapolis tyres, white body, black roof and went like the clappers - !
Over 70 gets so loud, I would want to buy an EV kit immediately 😀

32 pages of rules , regulations and entrants.
Gathering together prices for initial works. Strip car down to bare chassis, send away to have all paint and underseal removed, assess body thereafter . Gearbox although works very well, do have a syncro weakness. I'll also have Quaife LSD fitted whilst the gearbox is being serviced.
Suspension is tired and could do with replacing. Brakes are fine, but will change out lines and hoses. That will be done as part of restoration.
Engine runs well, we hit some quick speeds, with no issues, so other than a compression test and new seals I can't see it needing anything major required.
I will use the Mini this summer for local trips when weather is good.

Redline gearbox oil in the same grade as your car takes. If that doesn’t improve it - no other oil on this Planet will 👍
Sawdust will sort it, just make sure you sell it immediately
