A couple of old railway photos from Slovenia in 2003 that I stumbled across recently:

A goods train in the Sava valley heading west towards Ljubljana. It would have either come west from Zagreb (or Belgrade) or south from Graz via Maribor …

… and an old steam locomotive (presumably of Yugoslav Railways vintage) on display at Grosuplje station (about 15km SE from Ljubljana)

It’s not far to my chosen vantage point, less than half a mile, but due to time constraints, l drove round
There several others already there

One guy had a drone ready, but he didn’t have time to launch, as it was a few minutes early!!
