Did they at least serve you mushy peas!It was quite good.
Not up to good pub grub but acceptable.
Main downside..... they put boiled potatoes on instead of chips, not quite the same

I see in the news the Beeb have got to pay 100,000 Euros compo to Gerry Adams. Glad im not paying a penny of that.
Minor disaster. I heard a scuffle from the kitchen and Molly had got her head stuck between the washing machine and the corner of the cupboard and was panicking like crazy. I got a hold of her but she struggled so much I’m torn to shreds and blood everywhere plus she peed and pood out of shock. I can’t even get near her to check her over as she goes ballistic when I approach her. She’s hiding under the duvet just now so I’m hoping she’s just in shock and not injured. No way I could get a hold of her just now.
Just come back from a ride
normal 20 mile loop to Sankey Bridges and back along the canals
when I started I noticed that the battery was a bit low
in Eco mode it had 37 miles
but switch to Tour and it only had 20 miles
I hadn;t been out for a few days and was feeling so bad yesterday - energy wise anyway - that I was a bit uncertain but went anyway
when I was getting close to home I rechecked the estimated mileage left and it was showing 8 miles - with about 2 left - in spite of being in Eco mode for nearly the whole loop
about 100m in Tour mode (over the bridge) and a bit in "off" mode behind a woman with headphone on a narrow part of the towpath (she did apologise!)
when I got home it was showing 5 left
in Tour mode it was down to 1 left
shows that it is rather optimistic about its mileage left
never normally get a chance to check it that accurately and things change as they get older so it is good to know!
Morning folksand best wishes to Mo after getting scratched up [a jab needed?]
Got my ortlieb handlebar bag through the post. nice!i do like buying good gear.
Put quite a few miles on recently and got really sore eyes which is annoying as its preventing me going out until theyre better.[rolling eyes is apt...]
Yes! i wear specs and have a helmet with a shield visor. I seem to have sensitive eyes but have been riding into a lot of head winds recently which hasnt helped.Er, do you wear eye protection when cycling?

Morning. Another overcast, humid and showery day. Seems to be dry at the moment so might get a wander without getting wet.
Optical, prescription specs, i would like prescriptive wrap arounds but are beyond my means for now. Yesterday i opted for a short ride that included a killer climb up to a wind farm so managed a bit of a work out. When you say glasses do you mean optical glasses? If you mean cycling glasses are they wrap around? I get sore eyes if I don't wear wrap around.
