Well I've been to town. It is very rainy. I won't be going out again today.

I have just been told I am going and that this is a "more intrusive" one.
Not sure what can be more intrusive than a needle through the wall of your stomach though ☹️

Had the ultra sound.
Yesterday's was on the ward, this was tailor made room with a bigger, posher machine.
A NEW consultant has just been to see me. They are keeping me in till Monday to make sure I am eating and keeping it down
I've really had enough now.

Better to be certain before they let you out than to be brought back in and go through the A&E/corridor stay again.
Said they might be concerned you were doing a runner.

Tesco delivery sorted, curry bubbling away, floors vacummed and now the sun has come out. Yay! Hopefully dries roads up for tomorrows club social ride.

Back from the garage in Minehead and £350 lighter - new front discs and pads required, engine service and MOT.

Dave isn't responding. It must be rectal thermometer time.

Jeez, just heard one of my ex colleagues died this morning. I think she would only be in her late forties. I remember she had a cancer scare around 12 years ago but made a full recovery and has been doing well, but developed a fast growing tumour behind her eye which caused a brain bleed and she passed away this morning. She actually did a short bike ride on Garmin just a week ago so it must have been very aggressive.

Makes me appreciate every day of retirement even more hearing awful news like this.

One of the main things I came in here for is MRI scan.
After being here for 5 days they have told me they can't do it this week as they are too busy .
If I stayed another week they could do it.
I will have to come back as an out patient.

Go back as an outpatient!
That'd be my preferred option.

It was all over the kitchen and hall floor. At first I thought it was her until I saw it dripping off my hands. I would rather it was me than her anyway. I just hope she’s ok.

Give her time to calm down and in the meantime, clean yourself up.
She will come back when it is feeding time no doubt.
