I'm on lookout for some new bibs, which Lusso one did you get? I've seen a few others recommend them also.
How do they size up? Thinking of likes of Castelli are always on small size so need to go one up with them.

A couple of points as openers. I've been an Assos man for 25 years and never considered another brand. I am a huge fan of Lusso kit though these are the first bibs I've had. For my money the Lusso product quality, customer service and ethical stance is absolutely first class. Lusso is always my first choice for kit. For example I had an off in December '23 and ripped up £200 of kit. Lusso repaired the bib longs for free as these were inside the 12 month warranty. The gilet was repaired for £15!

My bibs are the Perform Carbon but I've had the pad changed to the Paragon. First ride today and I would say Assos is the perfect 10/10 fit for me but the Lusso comes in at 9¾/10. I'm going to order a pair of the Terra Cargo this evening.

The reason I considered changing from Assos is because they no longer offer what I call a "full" bibshort. Virtually all Assos bibs are what I term "shorts with braces." I like the full bib. To see what I mean check the Lusso website. Compare the Paragon style (braces) and the Perform and Terra style (full).

I find the sizing is as per the size chart. I don't need to go up or down a size.

Had the ultra sound.
Yesterday's was on the ward, this was tailor made room with a bigger, posher machine.
A NEW consultant has just been to see me. They are keeping me in till Monday to make sure I am eating and keeping it down
I've really had enough now.

I know hospital are a pain but if they want to keep you in then it is normally best to be there
just in case

it saves the family worrying if they know you are being looked after
hope you have a better night

Just come back from a ride

normal 20 mile loop to Sankey Bridges and back along the canals

when I started I noticed that the battery was a bit low
in Eco mode it had 37 miles
but switch to Tour and it only had 20 miles

I hadn;t been out for a few days and was feeling so bad yesterday - energy wise anyway - that I was a bit uncertain but went anyway

when I was getting close to home I rechecked the estimated mileage left and it was showing 8 miles - with about 2 left - in spite of being in Eco mode for nearly the whole loop
about 100m in Tour mode (over the bridge) and a bit in "off" mode behind a woman with headphone on a narrow part of the towpath (she did apologise!)

when I got home it was showing 5 left
in Tour mode it was down to 1 left

shows that it is rather optimistic about its mileage left

never normally get a chance to check it that accurately and things change as they get older so it is good to know!

You might recall that I was applying to be volunteer with Age Concern helping old people with computery things

note - I didn;t put my experience on this thread as relevant experience

anyway - I am finally mostly registered and set up4
so the person who is in charge of the digital help bit now has my name

and within a few days I have 3 clients - possibly one more

sounds like I might be busy!!

That's a pity. Still Monday night, sleeping in your own bed with no bells or buzzers going off. No paying to listen to the radio either...
T'is an improvement, that's one thing. What was Fishy Friday like.

It was quite good.
Not up to good pub grub but acceptable.
Main downside..... they put boiled potatoes on instead of chips, not quite the same
