Hmmm.......I should be sleeping. I'm not! Grrrrr. I'm hoping to join the club ride. That means leaving at 8.25. I'll set the alarm for 7.30 and see if I an grab another hour or so. We will see.........

Planet Rock, next Wednesday, approx 7.40am, they're playing my selection for the Full English. Just had the email from Paul Anthony himself!

That is a station that I have never yet listened to........I will be sure to listen to that prog though.

'Morning all.
An interesting and bl**dy annoying situation has rissed.
1. I need my hearing aid updated (had this one far too long).
2. NHS won't see me until I have had my ears syringed.
3. Phoned NHS to arranged for ears to be syringed only to be told they can't do it till February. Doctors don't do it now.
4. I phoned a private clinic........they can do it this morning at a cost of £70.00.

So, that's where I am off to this morning.
I did type other comments but eliminated them to avoid a ban!!!

Good morning all.
A brightish start to the day here, a bit of red sky at dawn at the moment, but rain is not forecast.
Today there escape committee is off to the Five Points brewery investors day at the Pembury Tavern in Hackney. Free ale and half price pizza, which are very good by the way.Three of us invested a couple of years back and even in these times they are doing well as a business 🍺

I've added Radio X Classic Rock to my presets on the wireless. That way, I can swap between that & Planet Rock when their ads intrude on my listening pleasure 🎧

Im tempted to subscribe to Planet Rock premium. It gives a load of other stations and streams and is ad free. Mind you, the ads on PR are nowhere near as bad as local independent radio where they can make as much as 15 minutes in an hour.
