🤧 Morning, been awake since 01:00
It's very dark out, I don't think it's raining and the wind has died down.

Good morning. Squally. Says it all. Dressing gown morning. The first this winter. The house is chilly.

Today? Not much planned really. It's a treatment day for Mrs P meaning I'll drop her off, do the supermarket run and probably head home as I don't think there's any other shopping to do.

Tonight's meal. So it goes like this. Yesterday I planted my shallots. At 3.00ish I was dozing and dreaming about shallots, then my mind turned to tea. What shall we have? Boeuf Bourguignon? Ghoulish? Some other hearty warming concoction? I should mention the only ingredients I've got in for this sort of meal are mushrooms and red wine.........it's a worry.......

Enough rambling. I have some u3a admin to do. Stretches and weights to follow.

This afternoon I'm doing an FTP test. I'm dreading this.. I'll be in a real state after 20 minutes on the rivet. 🥵😱😰

G'day all.
Too dark to tell what the weather is doing but forecast is for sunny/cloudy this morning turning to rain this afternoon.
I am expecting my treadmill to be delivered today. They are very helpful re the delivery time........ between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m.
And finally in today's news, my cleaner has cried off sick so I have a day free to wait for the treadmill.

Good morning from a nondescript Dorset as I haven't yet opened the curtains 😮
A lovely afternoon with youngest brother and his wife yesterday, a stroll down to the quay, a vist to the original Lush shop and then lunch at the RNLI college before seeing them off on the train to Brockenhurst where they are holidaying.
We're off to see Alexander McCall Smith this afternoon in Wimborne, Mrs Tkk enjoys his Scotland Street books and I've read a few too. The venue is the Allendale centre and from past experience we will be taking a cushion as the seats are the " numb bum " type.

The weather forecast says that we might get some sunshine today.
Royal mail are delivering a package and someone is dropping her keys round, MrsP is feeding her cats while they are away.
The man I contacted about the guttering is also coming round, but he hasn't given me a time yet. So, a domestics and staying in kind of day.

Woke around 0700 and still pitch black seemingly. Autumn has definitely arrived, it's also blinking cold and getting colder over weekend.
Think the wood burner will be in use tonight!

Just bobbed out to the backyard to get the milk in. Ye gods it's wet and cold here. Definitely Boeuf Bourguignon weather, probably with mash, carrots and peas.
