I have chipped a bit of a lower front tooth when eating cherries. I think my check up is due before long anyway but I’m a bit scared to leave it in case I end up with toothache.

I am no expert but if it's the end, as against nearer the gum, you should be OK.

Well......I am up at stupid o'clock again.

Cooooeeee. A cold night last night. At 8pm it was -7. Its now -1. We have had a fresh lot of snow. People are complaining that the roads haven't been gritted here and even when they are they are not set properly and all the grit is thrown into the verge so that's a fat lot of good. . I have cleaned the wood burner and have a nice fire started. lovely 😆

I did venture out on the bike for a while, most roads were dry and clear of ice. But some were still icy where the sun had not got to them.
It was nice yo be out on the bike though.

Lucky man. The forecast for us is such I've written off thoughts of riding till next week. Either too icy or too wet which with low temperatures brings other icy threats. Wednesday to Friday rain and 1⁰ at 09.00 is dodgy in my book. It dries up at the weekend and Saturday is forecast as -3⁰ at 09.00. VERY dodgy!!

-5 here in Poshshire and trying to snow. Bruce got a warm doggie coat for his walk, Geddy had to settle with amgo in the garden as bejng a pup he's not up to those conditions yet.

Well Good Morning all. It feels a touch warmer this morning. That's a hard frost as opposed to a heavy frost! Yeah, I know! So if yesterday was difficult, spilt milk, broken glass etc. this morning is beginning to look tragic. The scenario. The Moka is on the gas, a very low heat to give gentle percolation, extracting the maximum flavour. The milk is warmed, in my cup and waiting for the coffee. The Moka begins to make its satisfying little gurgle "cooeee, I'm ready." Paul picks up the Moka and with steady hand begins to pour. No, he doesn't spill a drop. What comes out? Clear water!!!!!! I forgot to put coffee grounds in the damn thing. Is it safe to go outside I ask myself. Will one of you pop round to help out???

Tragedies aside as usual #3SP will be here today. I'll set off early this morning. The traffic will inevitably be bad and conditions are such there are almost certain to be crashes involving those who drive at 70+ mph just 20 feet from the vehicle in front. I'll be hiding in the inside lane.

Good morning, only -4⁰ at the moment and very frosty outside.
Sainsbury's are delivering the weekly goodies between 9 and 10am , then I'll have a few errands to run. I'll check our road first before getting the bike out, i may have to go by bus.
Our Daughter is calling in when she finishes work, she is paticularly after my home made vegetable soup.
