Cars - I had my share of salary sacrificed vehicles during my working career.
Recently our 2011 Toyota Camry required an AUD $7000 Automatic transmission rebuild which was probably more than it was worth so we went to the local dealer and came away with a 2023 Camry Hybrid. Toyota seems to be sticking to Hybrids and not plug in electric.
Thinking about it the price was about the same as we paid for our house in 1978.
