I can top that, I stopped working 34 years ago

Sadly having my working life cut short has cost me financially to say the least, but having a good welfare system in this country has seen me through the bad times and as least I have had a roof over my head and food in the cupboards

I'll have to survive to 82 to be retired 34 years, so it's feasible. I'm 55 and 7 years in already.

Re length of retirement, I would need to reach the age of 92 to get 34 years.
Unlike my friend from the sailing club , he is on his 45th year of retirement 😀

With Facebook I sometime get friend requests from lovely looking teenage ladies young enough to be my granddaughters, I'm flattered but I'm not sure what the attraction is, if they're interested in my bank account they're going to be deeply disappointed, I just delete the request

Tonight my good lady is keeping me out of mischief, she's now got the lurgy I had last week. I'm a lot better now and I've had almost a normal day today.
