Bonjour. Definitively cooler this morning with very grey clouds. Now that we had some rain. the lawn has decided to grow at record speed and will need cutting again although it was done a few days ago.
Only 4 days till the TDF starts. Can't wait.

A drizzly almost 7 mile walk done. Still quite warm though so just had a t shirt and light gilet on. Far too warm for a proper jacket.

How amny people watch it on ITV4 and how many use Eurosport
I quite like Carlton (yes - I know) - but much prefer ITV4 overall
plus I REALLY don't like Sean Kelly as a commentator - great knowledge and experience but his voice is SOOOOO boring
anyway - who swings which way?
Oh - and - rang doc yesterday after 4 days waiting for a reply from their online non urgent system - they had not got the message!
as a result I am now on antibiotics and steroids for a few days
yet more tablets to remember - and all at different times!!!
I have initiated a chart!

I don't have Eurosport so no option. Some years I get engrossed in it if I follow from the start. Other times, I seem to lose interest and find it boring apart from the mountain stages.

ITV4 for me as it is free and the commentating is good.
I got really fed fed up with King Kelly's slow rambling drawl. And Carlton Kirby's pronunciation of the riders names in fake French, Spanish or whatever. Sounds like he's a character in Allo Allo.

Had to go to the hospitL for chest x-ray as I have had a cough for weeks on end
there is a "walk-in" for it so I went down about 9:30 and took my kindle expecting a wait
The NHS is REALLY not functioning to expectations
terrible standards - we pay taxes and expect a service that performs to expectations
This was just not right
basically I got there - checked in - and went to sit down.
Started my Kindle and found my place
read about half a page and I was called in!!!!
5 minutes later I was out again - all done
Bloody ridiculous!!!
I was confidently expecting a good hour or so of peaceful reading and all I got was a few minutes!!!
I think I might complain!!!

It is boring apart from the mountain stages, I love watching those.
Watching a peloton whizzing along for mile after mile is dull, sprints hold no appeal to me nor TT's.
