Good morning, a sunny day is forecast ☀️ so I will make hay ( or go for a run ). Cooked brunch yesterday just using our new portable induction hob, it's very good and so easy to clean so once Mrs Tkk has the chance to " learn it " we will probably go for a built in 4hob unit.

You won’t regret it,
We love our induction: super quick, efficient & so easy to clean 👍
Wok cooking is perhaps the only slight downside….no flames up the side of the pan 🤣
That, the microwave and an air fryer does probably 95% of our cooking now.

That will be me shortly. The only thing missing will be a grill for eg cheese on toast.
Which hob did you go for ?

On the topic of Induction Hobs we were catching up on Robson Green weekend walks where he has a weekend break in the countryside with various friends / acquaintances. The last episode we watched featured a guy who was a Michelin starred chef. The Chef was going to cook lunch so he pulled two single induction hobs from the back of his car. They were both the Tefal portable single units, same as the one we purchased from JL in the sale. Mrs Tenkaykev has yet to try out the hob but she noticed that the hobs were the same as the one we have. I told her that if it's good enough for a Michelin starred Chef then it mus pass muster.

That's the one I favour. They do a "slimline" version at 30 quid more but not sure of the value.

Good moaning, managed to wake up in time for a planned 50 miler, saw the shiny white coating and went back to kip, will probably head onto the turbo later. Ben (as MJ ) was in fine voice last night doing a good rendition from the king of pop. A shame the seats weren't as pleasing on the bum as the young fillies gyrating on the stage were on the eyes 😇
