Well, last night I 'lost' this mobile. I was tired. I recalled putting it in my pocket but that was it.
This morning I checked " everywhere" .....which included rubbish bins, fridge and freezer.
I dialled it from the land line but a stupid recorded message told me "I was unavailable" and me shouting "yes I bloody am you silly cow"!!!
So, where did I eventually find it? Under the bed of course were I always keep it🙂.
No idea how it got there, I can only hazard a guess.

Thanks but no thanks. I think I'll pass.
Cooooeeeeeee. 8 deg here and I have a fire going. I put the gunk on it last night so have to have a small fire to set it. Lol

Nothing planned for today. I might potter.

Stay safe peeps :hello:

Barnet,
Make sure you have maxed out on your NI contributions

I had 44 years of contributions, but because of working on the railway, along with other public sector staff we were contracted out, we paid slightly lower NI, so we don't get the full state pension. I have done the maths and for the amount I would have pay it's not really worth it.

Morning all :hello:

Off out for a walk on the beach this morning, then Sunday lunch at the Railway Inn.
MrsD's brother and brother in law are coming down to us for a 3 day stay from tomorrow. Right pair of boring old farts. Think we'll just put them on the steam train on Tuesday and leave them to it.
Will have to endure an evening, or two, of thrilling conversation about pressure die casting and fault finding on Suzuki SX4s.
Can't wait........

Morning. A bit cloudy and misty here but dry so far so I was out the door at 5.15 for a lovely 8 mile jog. Took it exceptionally easy as I just wanted to do a decent distance and keep the heart rate in zone 2 as much as I could.

Not sure what the rest of the day holds. Probably depends on the weather.

Better go and run a bath and have a nice relax now before breakfast.
