Morning all,
A cloudy start to the day here.
MrsP and MissP are going out to look at wedding dresses again today, MissP hasn't found what she likes yet.
That leaves me free to walk the dog, bimble out on the bike, get some ales in, and watch the FA cup final in peace.
Enjoy your day everyone :cuppa:

Making my way slowly uphill
Mrs Uphill uses Wahoo Live Track sometimes and in my experience it can be a bit temperamental. Can say she's stopped when she hasn't 😕
Though must say 17.5 mph average for such a long ride is impressive!

Is that the same as Garmin Livetrack - route unfolds in real time on phone, laptop etc?

Mrs SD watches my rides, walks and mountain forays to keep an eye on me - she worries especially on long solo mountain hikes.

Yes. It is live track on map
You can do similar with Google maps to share location

Yes, we use Google Maps share if we are meeting up in a town/city.

Garmin Livetrack is really good, stops working if there is no phone signal but auto reconnects when it reappears. Doesn't happen often though.

I build my hike/bike routes in Footpath (£23 pa) and send them to Garmin Connect App and then on to my Garmin watch if I am going to navigate with it.

Before going out for a walk or ride I send Mrs SD a screenshot of my intended route too so she can see how I'm getting on if she wants.

I've heard this elsewhere but so far it seems accurate. Messages coming in say they've stopped for breakfast at the point Livetrack is showing.

Current average is 16.7 but they're losing time in other ways as a couple of us predicted. Myself and a buddy always factor in "paused time" to our rides. Usually works out at 10 minutes per hour. They've been out for 4½ hours which means they should have lost 45 minutes but in fact they've lost 80 which is double what I expected. This is going to make a big difference to finish time.

I think it will take 18/18.5 hours.

Tell them their pints will be there until 11pm, after that they pay for their own.

Might gain some lost time back.
