We are a mixed bunch re food. Daughter and family are a mix of veggie and vegans. Son loves his meat as do I.
I like that cartoon.

Managed a zombie shuffle from the stair to the kitchen and made breakfast, while singing 'I want to break fast' a la Freddie Mercury but without his energy.

Breakfast over and then in a sudden rush of something to the head, rushed into action with scissors and put new bar tape on my Trek Emonda.

Something to be said for the zombie state as I made probably the best job I've managed yet with bar tape; though I might need to update that when the bleary eyes become more accustomed to the light when I open the curtains.

Back from Aldi. Didn't need much but got everything I wanted**.
Need to go to Currys next and the library.
**I bought some of their pork sausages as they came out well in reviews.

They are VERY good as are the Richmond and Cumbrian sausage.

Stuck in traffic for 75 minutes bringing the little one home. I'll spare you the details other than there are a lot of dickheads around today......mainly on the M65 at J3!!!!

Small person has gone swimming with Nana so I'm enjoying a late, relaxing breakfast of boilly eggs, toast, lime marmalade and coffee.

@welsh dragon great cartoon. I have sent to my vegan friend. She will laugh.

The Richmond ones say 'extra thick Irish sausages'. I don't buy them coz that's racist.

Actually I just checked, the Richmond ones no longer say that, but once upon a time they did. For the avoidance of doubt, I was having a chuckle, and did buy them and enjoy them. Aldi sausages are good, but I quite like the ones from our local Co-op too.

I do enjoy an 'emulsified hi-fat offal tube though', but you know just once a week. ;)

There's been this relentless rhythmic banging on the wall this morning which has been a bit annoying. Now I can hear her screaming next door.

Apparently the builder has just put a nail through his thumb.

Update; it was a prank, he bought it from a joke shop.

But the banging has started again.
