Well I have given the shelves, skirting boards and doorframe a second coat. I hate gloss paint and I especially hate cleaning the brushes after. And gloss smells phoooooeeeeee

Last few times I've painted skirtings, I've used satinwood instead. I think it has a nicer finish and seems to stay white longer too.

I am on chicken and mushroom stir-fry with bean sprouts, water chestnuts and veg type stuff. Sauce will be some garlic stuff.

Afternoon folks 
Just had a 'interesting' ride and it was even more 'interesting for the motorcyclist who sped past me as i left the housing estate on the way to Golspie. Five miles up the road nearing Golspie at Dunrobin castle said motorcycle had hit another vehicle and emergency services had closed the road. I pushed my bike past and could see the guy was being attended to by the ambulance crew and i went on my way. The A9 now being closed all the traffic was now diverting on 'my' 24 mile scenic peaceful one track road! and now it was like the M25! Where the occasional traffic was a highland cow now there were convoys of disgruntled drivers who dont know how to use passing places....
Dont know how serious the accident was but can imagine it might be a fatality going by how fast he came by me...

It cleared up whilst we were having lunch and turned into a nice afternoon, then started spitting again after we got off the bus and I was pushing My Good Lady up the hill home.
