I seem to recall him making a post saying he was "having a break" from the Forum. Can't recall how long ago that was, about 2-3 months, I would guess.
We bought a new gas fire when we had lounge 'done up'......paid a lot for it but its not as good as the old one. The guy came out with a load of eu gobbledegook to explained why but it's just not a effective as the old one.
Is that 'Coventry' Dave ??
Maybe him and 'Chorley Paul' have set up their own forum ?
Both seemed nice people though.

I messaged him on 18th November and he just said everything was fine. Maybe just got fed up. Sometimes the whole social media thing gets to you at times and you just want to ignore it for a while.
Hovering around freezing here but pleasant enough for my morning wander.

Hi all
Just noticed a message from the local FoodBank asking me to go and look at a problem on their laptop
I said I would look after their IT stuff for them but they seldom ask for anything
problem is that my phone was low on power and I didn;t hear it go Bingley- Bing so I only just noticed it
and we have to go and sort out the grandkids soon so it will have to wait until tomorrow
which is annoying
but anyway - we have cleared out and tidied up a load of kitchen cupboard yesterday
so not I won;t be able to find anything which is also annoying
still - could be worse!!!

I've just had BT on the phone, and at last I think I have the package I wanted. Broadband only.
The woman from the digital services seemed to know what she was doing, and I now have texts and emails with the correct package and details of how much refunding will be coming my way, £93, when the next bill is generated at the end of this month.
I wait with trepidation that it is all sorted.
We'll see.
