It's snowing again now.
Very pretty but you are welcome to my share.
We have a similar scene here.
Forecast(council) were for snow Wednesday and Friday this week, bringing chaos along with it.
They were wrong! That or I've lost a day.
If it's the second one, I'll check down the back of the settee and let you know.

Woke up to snow this morning - which was a surprise

not really going surprise you lot as Dave have already reported it and he is quite close - but more likely to get it as he is more inland (a bit anyway!)

no snow since

anyway - SWMBO will be going to the hairdresser again this afternoon - no idea why she "needs" to go so often
but now she is starting to say I should go and get mine done as well - although I draw the line at going to the same place!!

Honestly - before we met I was quite happy with twice a year!!!

anyway - after that we are going to look at some cars
I saw an MG yesterday that I loved but the reliability index puts MG pretty close to the worst
and Drago says he had one as a hire car (or courtsey or something" and it was rubbish quality

so I am in 2 minds - will also look at a Honda - which is what we have at the moment so we know the quality is good!

You going electric, hybrid or petrol? We have just bought a Toyota Yaris hybrid, very pleased with it, my brother has just bought the bigger RAV4 hybrid, he is equally pleased.

Morning all, poor night's sleep (restless feet), suppose I had better vacate my pit, group ride at 9.30 in the sunny uplands of Watopia.

Wasn't the Pack beginner's ride was it? I jumped into that one. Really enjoyed it once I realised all the people shooting off were racing and no intentions of staying with the group. Why do they even join the ride? I thought I was getting dropped at first then saw the fence appearing and realised what was happening. Dropped back and stuck close to the leader the rest of the way.

Yup that was the one, nice and easy recovery ride. I'm in 2 minds about the racers, on the one hand I agree, why do a 1.5 ride and then ride at 3.0, on the otherhand some rides I'll join the lower paced rides just for the craic on messenger and the fact it's a ride everyone I know is on so position doesn't matter. (Though we usually act as sweeps so get the workout without flying off the front)

Tend to ride more with EZR and RO4H but the Pack ride is sometimes more convenient.

1. Warrington seldom gets snow even when it's widespread. So I was surprised by this.
2. My Bro has a Honda Civic and in the few times I have been passenger I was impressed by the firm smooth ride.
I have had my Astra a good while now. I like it but it's not exciting.
