Morning…..and we have minus 7 :cold: All change starting tomorrow then. As much as it will be nice not being as cold, no doubt I will be complaining when the rain returns.

Morning. I woke thinking of you Mo (in the nicest way) as its minus 5° here and I wondered what it must be like up your way (am I digging myself a deeper hole?)
Will be going to the kitchen fitters later to see the plans. I understand they will not let you have them without commitment......there must be many who would just tout the plans around for cheaper prices.

I’m badly needing work done in my house too but keep putting it off. I am getting more and more anti social the older I get, and the thought of people in the house for several days at a time with the upheaval and disruption puts me off. In hindsight, I am kicking myself for not getting stuff done when I had access to dad’s house for several months after he died. I could have moved over there with Molly for several weeks and got stuff done then.

I fully understand.
Fortunately, with it being a large house I have the main kitchen to fall back on for 2 days.

Anyway....... washer/dryers !!!
I had decided to get one so as to have more cupboard/drawer space.
Popped into Curry's yesterday and found out that a full wash and dry takes over 6 hours.
Common sense (I still have some) says "so what, I have all day to let it do its thing".
Does that sound reasonable ??

I wouldn’t have one. They are just not as effective as two separate machines, but I suppose if there’s no other option and you don’t mind the time it takes fair enough. I would be tempted to just get the best washing machine with a high spin speed and then use a dehumidifier with a laundry setting to dry stuff if you can’t get it outside.

When we had our shower room conversion they sent us " photo's " from several perspectives of the room with all the proposed new fittings in place so we could see what the finished room would look like.

Good morning, only -5 here at the moment. Flight to Tenerife went over about 20 minutes ago. A possible trip to JL to look at mini ovens and microwaves, I quite like the look of the " Sage " stuff. I cut a piece of cardboard to the dimensions of the proposed Mini oven and put it on the worktop but nothing beats seeing things in the flesh as it were.
