So
this morning there was a red car inthe drive

This evening there is a blue one

I have no idea how to use a lot of the fancy bits and I don;t have a manual
I will have to sit in it tomorrow with my laptop and a PDF reader and try to work out what it can do that is - or may be - useful

Oh - and I have no instructions for the satnav
luckily it is very similar to our old one but not totally
and, thought the map seems ok, i the instructions seem to think there is a roundabout at the bottom of our road - when that was demolished about 10 years ago and it is now a massive flyover with a load of roads leading off it

Oh - and i tried to put some petrol in it and failed - had to leave teh petrol station in shame and come home to look at the instructions!

Still - I'll have it sorted - probably by the end of the decade!

I know the feeling, there are still a few "gadgets" I haven't used yet on ours, and a few "beeps" I don't know what they are "beeping" for, had it since beginning November

Good day all.
Late on parade today as I managed to doze till 7.45.
Surprised it was so cold as I thought the warm weather started today.....think I am a day out.
Got to strip the bed and shove bedding in the washer.
My cleaner comes at 10 today so need to get a move on as I'm still in my PJs and kitchen is a mess......can't have the cleaner finding a mess can I ^_^

It's up to 2 degrees here now and felt positively balmy compared to the last few days. The sky is heavy though and I think we will get rain before long.

Thought my new treadmill was going to come yesterday, but turns out the delivery firm do Fridays in my area so it will be today at some point. Be nice to be able to run on a decent sized belt compared to the little cheapo I have been using.

It's this one. Nothing overly fancy, but gets decent reviews and one of the main reasons I plumped for it is there is only minimal assembly required.

Read the assembly instructions a couple of times very carefully before you start to assemble it and download the user manual and study it well if there is one online. They are much bigger and heavier in the flesh when they arrive. See can you get the delivery guy to place it exactly where you want it. They weigh a ton. How much were they charging to assemble it ?

Thanks but no thanks. I think I'll pass.
It looks colder outside at -4 than it did yesterday at -8.

It really is easy. They sent a link to the assembly process on Youtube. It's literally just 6 bolts. Hoping the delivery men will plonk it in the middle of the room it will be going and once it's out of the box, it can be moved easily on wheels.

Won't be a problem for Mo Schwarzenegger anyway.

Looks good!

Our new one was minimal assembly although it somehow took the pair of us an age to do.

The delivery guys were very good and were willing to put it in the right room for us but (H&S) they were not allowed to take their protective boots off.

It was raining hard and we didn’t want their muddy feet on the carpet so they left it in the tiled hallway.

It was very heavy and difficult to move to its allocated spot in a spare room. (The old one that blew up was downstairs in the gym but Mrs SD was less keen on it going down there because of spiders!) So 'upstairs' it was!

We don't need the roll away facility which is just as well as it was a bugger to roll the assembled beast into its final position - it just would not roll on the carpeted floor.

It's got heaps of use since we got it early November - rain and now snow/ice means it has been a godsend.

Have fun!
