Yes, our forecast (on my phone) said rain at 18:00 this evening. I passed this information on to Mrs @BoldonLad, who decided to go for a one hour walk at 12:30, the heavens opened at 13;00, she got soaked, I got shouted at. 😂

One very easy solution to that. Look up at the sky, If it is blue, you are safe to go out, no rain. If it has black clouds, stay indoors.

Some rain comes down at an angle so looking up doesn;t always work
especially in North Wales - from what I remember from the years I lived there it could rain out of a clear sky!!!
in many case I actually saw a line of clouds around Llanfairfechan and everywhere East was in bright sunshine - everything West was rainy
and it got blown in the direction the wind was blowing up there
and as the wind at ground level was always "up the Straits" (not a football chant!) it could rain anywhere close
from what I remember anyway!

It was dry and quite hot earlier. Now we have fine rain.
