Seems to include all taxable earnings
so include State Pension and interest payments etc

but seems to be per household
so 2 people at one address and both get half

cutoff seems to be absolute - so 34999 and your OK - 35001 and your not - dunno about exactly 35000

There should be a fuller explanation out tomorrow I suppose - plu sthe people who study this sort fo thing will have had time to look at it by then
e.g. Martin Lewis, Age UK etc etc

There is a tax free interest allowance, not sure what it is (£1000pa I think).

In the stuff I have read (BBC Website), the allowance is given as £200 or £300 per household, no explanation as to what qualifies you for £300 vs £200. However, before the WFA was means tested, by Rachel Reeves, we were getting £200 EACH, ie £400 per household (at that time, we were a household of two 76 year old State Pensioners, not entitled to Pension Credit)

This government has really shot itself in the foot over this whole WFA fiasco.
Surprised Reeves is still in a job.

I'm awake too, I had a dream about having to race across the desert in Australia with only an apple and baguette for sustenance 🤔
