Just wandered round to the Co-op for a couple of things and it’s already too hot for me so, even although it’s not even 10am yet, my shorts/vest pjs are back on and I ain’t venturing out again. I’ll be sitting in the living room later watching tennis with the fan blasting on me.

Daft (nosey) question but why don't you just wear your shorts and vest ??
Keep a dressing gown handy in case someone knocks.

Binned off music practice as its 28 celsiuses in the music room. Managed 25 minutes before calling it quits.

I have treated myself to an entry level Ipad in the Amazon prime day sales. I've never used an Ipad before I've always gone for androids so it will be Interesting.

I have shut the curtains already as it's going to be a scorcher or a day.

Yes, afraid Sky have most things now.
Although I really begrudge it I pay because I enjoy my sports.
So much other crap that sadly comes as part of the package.

Uhmm....not had poached eggs in years. I must rectify that.
How do yo do yours ?

An inch or so of water in a pan, add a few splashes of vinegar, this holds the egg together.
Get the water boiling the turn down to a rolling simmer.
Crack the eggs into the water slowly then let them cook.
Non of this swirling the water round malarkey.

Love mine, but I am already tied into the Apple system so it makes sense. Not sure it’s quite as handy if your phone is still on Android.
