Despite my injured finger I managed to do a 32 kms ride but without gloves as I can't put them on yet.
Now to take Molly for a walk.

I just had a text allegedly from YouGov telling me I am one of those who are eligible for the winter fuel allowance. I have to click on the link, and fill in the form by tomorrow to apply. Yeah. Right. I don't think so.

Mrs D has announced she's quitting work to look after me. If all is good she may find something in the new year, but she doesn't need to work and it would be nice to have her home.

I think recent events have frit her up a bit, and served as a reminded that I've got 10 more years on the clock than her.

Morning folks thank goodness the rain has eased up and its a riding day! so its over the hills and far away and will even welcome the dive bombing buzzard.
Sent off for some gladioli bulbs/corms and think i'll get some nerines and maybe some irises

A bright blue sky greets me first thing. The forecast says it should be grey and cloudy now, with rain forecast for later.
Millie is going to the Vets this morning for acupuncture treatment on her back. She has spondylitis and a crushed disc in her spine.
This afternoon Sainsbury's are delivering the weekly goodies and I'll be watching the Tour.
Today's stage is almost the same as I rode in 2004 when I rode up the Ventoux, starting from Montpellier and I finished in Malaucene.🚴

Just finished reading Will Fotheringham's article on Mt Ventoux in the Guardian. An interesting read, I liked the " Brotherhood of Ventoux Nutters " , people who have climbed Ventoux from all three approaches in a single day 😮

WoW, what a sleep!!! Was in bed and zonked out before 10 last night. Woke for a James Riddle at 5 and whereas I would normally get up then I decided to try sleep again.....and it worked, out like a light till 7.
Enjoying a cuppa and kitkat right now.

I have done it twice, not on the same though, the first from Bedoin, and a few days later from the Malaucene side.

My washing is nearly done. Not sure if it will dry outside though as it's very damp. Hopefully the sun will show itself later on.
