I read the Guardian. Saturday is a poor day for crosswords. The "Weekend" always requires general knowledge I don't have. The "Prize" is way beyond me so I have to settle for the "Quick Cryptic" which is too easy.

During the week I do the Guardian cryptic. On a good day I get 60/70% of the answers. On an extraordinary day, 100%.

If today’s Quick Cryptic is too easy, could you go back to yesterday’s cryptic to finish the other 30/40%...if yesterday was not an extraordinary day?!

Nice sunny start to the day.
Cuppa and bickies have been enjoyed and I am now listening to Tony Blackburn with SoTS. I agree with him that it was/is THE best decade for music.
I should get a mid morning walk in later.

I hardly ever listen to the radio but have stuck it on. I like music from the 60s and early 70s too. Not keen on anything later than that.

I was awake at 3.35, but finally managed to get back to sleep by about 5.
The animals have been fed and the cats have gone out.
It's a bit overcast here but it is due to be quite warm again today, 25⁰
Dog walking first, then I'll take a ride up to the market for some apples and nectarines.

Decent day although breezy.
Given the proposed plan for todays club social ride I've binned it as it would mean a return leg of 30miles into a block 20mph headwind which is not fun. I've be flying solo on a loop which will hopefully avoid the worst of the wind.

I had a 75 minute walk on the treadmill since it was wet but the rain has now disappeared and the sun is out. I really don’t enjoy indoor exercise much so it’ll be nice to get outdoors for another wander later.
