At 9.20pm last night I found myself sprawled on the sofa watching Celebrity Traitors. I really can't abide this sort of TV but Mrs P enjoys it. I can't fathom that. I decided to go to bed..........it was that or crash on the sofa.........

this has consequences. I've now slept for six hours and I'm wide awake and ready for action. At 4.00am!!!!!

Morning. Long lie for me. I was tossing and turning earlier but must have eventually nodded off and was surprised to see it was 7am.

According to the BBC it is just 1 degree out there. I’ll find out shortly.

28 years today since mum died. Can hardly believe it. She was 3 years younger than I am now.

Good morning, not too blowy at the moment. My youngest brother and his wife are staying at Brockenhurst and will be popping on the train to Poole today. We're meeting up for lunch at the RNLI training college, not seen them for years so a lot to catch up on. Just heard from daughter about her time off so we will be spending Christmas in Leeds. That brings to mind our visit almost 16 years ago when she was expecting, grandson arrived late so we spent the two weeks over Christmas and the New Year in a hotel near the Armouries.
