Serious question.....why do you drop a prescription AT the quacks ? Surely it's the quack that gives you the prescription.

I wondered that. I order my monthly repeat online direct from the pharmacy. If I visit the surgery for something else the GP sends the prescription electronically to the chemist. I get a text when it's ready. This is rural Lancashire.

BBC2 news say it was caused by a man driving the wrong way.

We had to go to town to drop the prescriptions off at the quacks. Its very wet here. The water is literally running down the road.

Great minds! I have a jar of curry sauce lurking in the cupboard so bought some diced chicken breast when I was shopping earlier.

The police have appealed for dashcam footage from drivers on Blackpool road, Preston where the same vehicle was involved in another crash. All very strange.

I just got home from Chorley - tyre fixed. Local motorways are at a standstill and local traffic is now diverting through town which is rapidly filling up!

They do things is strange ways in Wales

Especially in the middle bits where some strange things are reputed to happen in the hills

I know this because I used to live in Wales and the above information was part of a professional lecture by a highly qualified lecturer working for the University

AND there were rumours about the hills behind Bethesda and some strange arrangements of bones in the hills in the quiet places!!

so - basically - there are strange people on CycleChat in Wales

and before anyone asks, I am not going to share my past family history!!!

Sounds like intoxication with either drink or drugs! Maybe be more details later.

Normally nails or punctures on the top, tread part of the tyre can be repaired. Any damage to the sidewall and it is scrap.

Being picky but...... to me a sausage is normally a tubular shape in a skin of some sort. Have I missed that bit ?

Yep, I've experienced this. Today's nail was in the valley between two centre treads on the tyre.

We now have a crash M61 southbound between 8 (Chorley) and 6 (Horwich). There is a 10 - yes TEN - mile queue and two hour delay. Unbelievable today.

I'll be going the long way round to take #2 home tonight.

I've just boiled another batch of Quince, they are now draining through muslin ready for the sugar to go in and be reboiled so that it thickens due to the pectin in the seeds.

Ahhh so, it's not marmalade sausages.... its sausages WITH marmalade etc.
