Pulse rate when walking briskly ???.

Obviously I don't know how accurate this treadmill is.
Google tells me to take the number 220, minus my age then divide by 2.
Sounds a bit 'which Doctorish but it was spot on for me.
It started at 78 then worked up to 82 with a weird spike of 85 which only lasted moments.
I think I'm still alive ^_^

Just done 20 minutes walking on the treadmill. My aim was to build up to 30 minutes but I'm not sure now.
I kept a decent pace but I'd had enough after 20 mins.......maybe as I can only look straight ahead.

One step at a time, don't try and rush things.

I am on soup for lunch as my daughter made broccoli and Stilton last night.
NB
I am one of those weird people that doesn't like Christmas cake or marzipan.......so please don't send me any

I'm not very fond of rich fruit cakes either and marzipan can be a bit sickly. I would rather have a sponge to be honest and just icing without the marzipan.

Good morning. Blowing an absolute hoolie, so loud I've had to shut the window. I woke at 4.00am and need to doze now.

#1 and #3 granddaughters today. #1 is staying for a sleepover so I need to be on top form. Really looking forward to her stay. She's five now, started school and no longer comes every Tuesday. I miss her company so the next two days will be a great treat - hopefully for both of us.

Paul.
If you don't already do this..........
My grandchildren are 22, 25 and 30ish? now.
When the middle one was a toddler Sue started a diary of funny things he said or did.
Yesterday I 'found' the notes and thoroughly enjoyed re reading them.
I highly recommend this.

Barnet,
How is she now? Did you get an appointment?

Was told to bring her straight up.
Bloods taken and her liver enzymes are through the roof,
Dehydrated so she on a drip, at home, MrsP is a Veterinary nurse, told to stop one of the meds she is on and given different meds for the liver. Anti sickness and nausea stuff and something else.
She is looking really fed up at the moment.

Soup sounds awful!!!!
Have you done something to upset her???

Oh - on a similar point the evil Grand Daughter has been putting graffeti - really BAD grafetti
on the whiteboard in the kitchen that is mostly used for shopping lists

the best of it says "Pops Loves Cheese"
there are worse

I have added an item to the shopping list saying "Evil Grand Daughter Spray"

I have also filled up a small water pistol and hidden it on top of the freezer

when she finds the entry on the shopping list .........

She should know that stuff like that has consequences with me around!!!

I think I like your granddaughter  .
And, change of plan! The soup is on hold and will be my 'starter' for tea.
You would have enjoyed my lunch..... grilled cheese on toast.

Took the chance of a ride on the Brommie while daughter was at a hospital appointment.. Rode from the skateboard park to Sixfields and back.. Probably just under 10 miles..
Car has been organised ready for tomorrow's trip to the Peak District with daughter and grandson.
