Riverside trail walked. It was dry until the final half mile when I got caught in a shower.

Just had breakfast of scrambled eggs with some cheddar cheese grated in. I think I’ll need to try going low carb again as the weight has shot up this year. I love my carbs but they don’t love me.

Just seen that the National Lottery is looking for 5 winners that have not claimed their "prizes"

So - There you are - IT COULD BE ME!!!!!

I suppose the odds might be higher if I actually bought a ticket - but I looked at it and the odds of winning are not much different in real terms so I don;t bother

An excellent curry lunch followed by several pints of Oakham Infernal ale in the Mitre.
We started to formulate a plan for next years trip abroad.
It is possibly to north west Spain, Bilbao Santander and the Basque region of Spain and France.

Mrs @BoldonLad and myself travelled down west coast of France and into Spain every year for about 15 years, in our Motorhome. Driving from Dunkirk or Calais and variously heading for Valencia, Portugal or Costa-del-Sol. The. SW coastal area of France (Aquitaine) is not very scenic, IMHO, but, once into Spain there is some dramatic scenery and some interesting history, including pilgrim routes to Santiago de Compestela. Before we had the motorhome, when we were still wage slaves, we drove through the Pyrenees west to east in a Mazda MX5.

Closest I've come to winning was the last draw of 1996. Multi draw ticket bought whilst waiting on my connecting service in Limerick.

Snowbound when they gave the numbers out, and the day before.
I then get to the local post office, nearly seven miles away and then posted the wrong ticket off.
It was only £300,000 though.
