Sometimes, just sometimes Mr Classic we have the accept that cultural divides make the understanding of such deep thoughts beyond the bounds of mortal man.

Good morning all.
Wet here and going to stay wet. Its supposed to be 5° but my body says otherwise.
Not much on ie nowt!!
I really must do the treadmill this morning. As it looks out on the garden i quite enjoy 20 minutes on it, you just 'get out' of doing that (or other exercise).

Cooked “meatballs” with tempeh for dinner last night. Never cooked with tempeh before. Never heard of it until the kids were home at Christmas 😜
Surprisingly delicious.
Essentially this recipe, but I chopped things fine enough not to use the mixer part.

Must admit "tempeh" is a new one on me. I assumed it was a utensil like an airfryer but now think it must be some kind of veggie/lentil thing ???

Morning all.
All this talk of goosegogs has got me remembering about the gooseberry bushes on my old dad's allotment. We had pounds of them and my mum used to make crumbles, pies and jars of jam.
You don't see goosegogs in the shops or grocers very much these days.

Usual dog walkies & maybe a bit of a ride to my local ice-cream parlour late morning 🍦

8 mile wander done. Quite chilly and misty but pleasant enough.

Just finished some scrambled eggs with cheese and Molly is licking the plate.

Where I go has a dozen or more flavours plus a choice of sauces and squirty cream + many toppings to choose from. (sprinkles, jelly tots, smarties etc etc) and a wsfer, too... £3:95 👌
