Morning

We have the grand kids - they stayed overnight "so their parents could do something nice for Mother's Day"

I didn;t enquire further

but apparently they are being picked up earlier than usual because their Mum wants to see them

I am presuming their Dad will bring some presents etc

and he better bring something for his Mum as well!!!

Anyway - middle one always wakes up early so has come down with me - plus his 100,750 "teddies" (cuddly toys that he HAS to have with him

5 year old might wake up soon - 13 year old - only the Gods know!

Morning all, another frosty start to the day here, 2⁰c and the sun is shining.
Our Daughter is coming over some time this morning, and so is our Son. So I am cooking American style pancakes with maple syrup, blueberries, strawberries and sliced bananas also with squirty cream on top. A bit of a calorific monster, but they are really tasty :hungry: :hungry:
I'll need to get out on the bike later to burn off a few of said calories before listening to the Liverpool v Spurs on the radio later this afternoon.

I must google the difference between English and American pancakes.

Morning all :hello:

Not too bad at the moment but forecast rain at lunchtime.
Fitted a red dot sight to my BB pistol and ordered another one for my air rifle. No sign of the rat for a couple of days, though. I think he knows.
Off to the Railway Inn for lunch later.

Either, the Rat knows you mean business, and has gone to pastures new, or, the rat is busily reproducing, to defeat you with sheer volume 😂

Big decisions need to be made.
My daughter normally does a big roast on Sundays and includes me. Today, being mother's day she has put her foot down and demands that her hubby (my SiL) cooks for her. Now, put it this way......when she went away for a week i cooked all his meals.
So, for myself I can have home made chicken curry, sausage eggs and chips or an Aldi ready meal.
Suggestions on a postcard please.
