Just noticed a text message from yesterday


Apparently I could be owed £2,487 pounds from mis-sold car finance

ffs !!!

I think every man and his dog are owned money from mis sold car finance! Is it a massive PPI thing all over again?

Slight fun this morning when we went shopping in town. Got home & MrsPete couldn't find her spectacles. (She was wearing sunglasses for driving) Search of the car. No joy. Headed back into town again to check where we parked, just in case... Cut it short; re-searched the car anf there they were, lurking in the boot 😂

A couple of photos from todays walk through the woods with granddaughter. The rings on the recently felled tree stood out, and thats Mrs Tkk heading along the trail by Blackwater Stream ( the local 'Spoons is named after it ). The water in the stream is so clear it looks just like a gravel bed.

Evening folks rested the old legs today and did some gardening, gave my new rose bed a deep compost mulch. Theyre budding/sprouting and soon be in leaf, they've had bone meal/ horse manure/seaweed compost and growmore oh! and i gave them pre-emptive spray with rose clear. Last year various lurgys hit [black spot/ leaf mould] and caught me out so will be spraying again in a week or two .

Going to the Watchet Sunday market this morning to have a mooch around.
Railway Inn for lunch.
@Dave7 - yes, I get concerned when someone just disappears from the thread - you never know at our age.
I'm still curious about why DaveR suddenly disappeared and deleted his profile and posts. Odd, that.

I feel the same about Dave R. I know is silly but I feel I little guilty that I never reached out to him . We only live about three miles apart , we had come good chats on here and we rode the same roads and used the same cafe stops . But my life was a lot busier then, with work and I just kept putting it off.
