Just seen a thing from the House of Commons where they are reporting back from a committee thing about Social Media and kids
She was saying that Facebook Roblox and TikTok have all said things along the lines of
"Our sites are not addictive"
"We are horrified that any children might have come to harm on our site"
when they have been found guilty and responsible in several courts recently
and we all know that their sites are specifically designed to feed you what you look for and ramp it all up
but which could not be better designed to become addictive if they tried
(!)
In other words - they have evidence of the problems in actual legal proceedings and the CEOs are still pushing a concept that it is not their fault
Just incredible!
