Good evening. It's been a beautiful but very windy day in Lancashire. Early morning was busy but here I am feeling very relaxed. Out riding most of the day, 64 miles and 5000 feet including Waddington Fell, a legendary Lancashire climb. I'm rather pleased with how this went.

Mrs P is out. I suddenly found myself with a hankering to watch my favourite film, Pulp Fiction. I have a good beer and feet up. All that's missing is a large bar of Cadbury's 😃

My boys are at Bramhall Lane tonight. Win and we're safe, lose and it's squeaky bum time. I haven't looked for the score yet. I think Pulp Fiction is distraction therapy.

Good morning. 03:11 the clock said when I woke. At 03:33 I gave up the battle to stay in bed. Weather? Dark and chilly.

Hello @Dave7 I see you're up and about as well. I have a decent brew and digestives, I'll try some Sudoku and then wrap up in a blanket on the couch.

The joy of tubeless. Yesterday I was under pressure to be home by 3:45pm. Mrs P was going out and wanted her tea at 4:45. I punctured an hour, at pace, from home. The sealant did its job but I lost a lot of pressure first. My buddy whipped out his electronic pump and in less than a minute the tyre was at 65psi. The whole thing took 5 - 6 minutes compared with perhaps 20 to wrestle with a tube.

I got home at 3:47 and will order an electronic pump today.

I have Zefal HPX pumps on each of my bikes.

I'm back, I think. Hopefully this coffee will wake me up.
Cleaner coming later so I have to get stripped and ready....... ie bedding stripped and clean stuff ready for her to fit.
I am making a slow cooker full of corned beef hash so have carrots and potatoes to peel and chop. Then sautè mushrooms, peppers and onions. Then get it on the go.
I also have to nip to Waterfields for a fruit tart.
So, a busy morning.
