After 44 years full time work with jobs before that (including working in a bike shop) I thought the time had come…..

The very first words spoken to me by my first ever boss at Solicitors Law Stationery Society, High Holborn, were
"How old are you, son?"
"15"
"Just think, in 50 years you can have a bl00dy good holiday"

I really enjoyed working, just not particularly for other people. I now work for myself but only 2 days a week. I only planned my retirement about a year before I finished.

So I got my double hit yesterday, nice to see some racing, even saw Ben Turner doing a wheelie up the gravel climb. I've now moved on to Port de Tudons for stage 9.
