Well that was better I slept for nearly 10hrs last night to make up for the very little sleep I had the two nights previously, woke up to a beautiful sunny day, not unusual but at only 20°C what a joy, supposed to reach 26°C today.

I don't think I've slept for 10 hours since I was about 5!

Makes me feel down, tbh. Yes. We had a lovely summer for a change, but normal service is resumed. It will probably be wet now until next April.

PS: why do so many OAP's get up so early? Serious question.

Possibly because many have a snooze during the day, or early evening so you don't need many hours during the night.
There is also a train of thought that as you age your circadian rythmn moves forward do you wake up earlier, this may change as the mornings get lighter later in autumn and winter.

Best time of the day! That first daylight hitting your eyes is what sets your circadian rhythm. What you do not going to sleep until very late and lying in bed until later isn’t considered very healthy. Maybe why you are grumpy!

Wow its a warm day here. . Blue skies and sunshine. I have my washing drying outside, I have made a golden syrup cake as well its in the oven and I have some music on.

16 here and still murky and drizzly. I still have all the windows open though.

I was looking for something to do, then I realised I had ironing to do
well it's all done now and put away
Chicken curry next followed by mint ice cream.
We have hazy sun and 26c

Speaking for myself.....as an eg i was really tired about 21.30 last night. I tried to watch to recordings but was too tired to enjoy them so went to bed.
Had a good kip apart from the usual pee break and was awake for 07.00. When the mornings were lighter it would be 05.30.
I dont want to be, it just happens.

Do you make your curry from scratch or is it a jar/packet ?

Back from 90 minutes work in the park.
My job today was chopping back some branches and cutting them into size for a log burner.
Next I was clearing brambles that others had cut back.....they are lethal
There were 10 adults and 3 children helping out and fortunately the weather held for us. Most are still there but my back said I'd had enough.

Do you make your curry from scratch or is it a jar/packet ?

Most of the time I make from scratch, but I have used jar/packets
but it is so easy to do it from scatch once you have all the spices
ect, but that sometimes put's people off and to be honest it is with
todays living most take the easy option.
Today I took the lazy option as it was a ready meal that had been in the freezer
for at least 4 months and needed to be used up, I like to have a few ready meals
in the freezer as a just in case of illness or can't be arsed to cook.

About the same here 16°C & 15°C real feel except we have our CH on. 🥶
