To be fair, I wonder how much a Octavia VRS is going to cost to tax soon, former colleague has and early one, it was always quite expensive on road tax, IRO £400 pa iirc

I'm only £215 for my MK3 vRS TSI. It's less than £300 a year to insure too, amazing car.

I was the first to park, it was there at 14:30

I had to drive in, as l was taking my mother shopping when l finished (not much sense in riding home, then driving there)
I parked in an empty section of the car-park at 04:30, on walking up at 14:05, this Fabia was alongside

It’s a dumb place for the Fabia driver to have the parking permit, if it’s permanently stuck there!
Hopefully, it’s temporarily behind the parking ticket’ clip?

A colleague with a Kuga, invariably finds another parked next to him, unless he’s parked next to me (as he does) in some kind of obscure ‘Ursine/Feline mating’?

I had a Mk1 Fabia VRs back in the day 05 plate, I think I put about 80K on the car with minimal work beyond consumables. The front tyre wear was significantly better than the MG ZR diesel I had before which ate tyres. The VRs was useless in 1st in the wet, stupidly quick mid range speed and excellent on fuel. The biggest downside while having kids was the light grey outer material of the seats...not very kid friendly. No towing weight quoted on the V5 otherwise I'd of kept it as I needed a bigger car for the growing family camping trips....one of the few cars I've owned I've actually loved.

The Kodiaq is growing a moss garden

Well, it has been washed three times in the (almost) 5 years I've owned it!
Once was in November 2021
(the interior/glass/lights/alloys are all cleaned though)
