They are more accurate than Squirrels then>> I had a squirrel do similar from some woods*, but hit the front wheel in the lower front quadrant, took a spoke assisted trip around to the front forks, a thunk was heard, it dislodged and shot back int the woods, no doubt looking for ibruprofen.


* this assumes it wasn't aiming for the front wheel, if it was aiming for the front wheel, it was accurate, but stupid.

We both escaped lightly looking at some of those pics. For a nano second i thought I was going to be somersaulting the handlebars. I also once had a narrow escape from a kamikaze low flying pheasant...

We've always had Jack Russell's. Currently on our 6th.
The fastest one we ever had must have hit 60mph when it went over the sea cliffs at Kirkmichael in the Isle of Man whilst chasing seagulls. It came back, eventually, covered in blood and feathers - looking very pleased with itself.
