It’s the bittersweet thing about getting a new (to you) bike. The old favourite ends up languishing in a dusty corner somewhere. If you get it and it does become a favourite consider whether one of your other bikes needs to go.
I‘ve kind of reached n + 1 - 1 territory. Which I’m happy with. I’d rather one of my old bikes is getting ridden regularly rather than sitting around gathering dust. What I like doing on bikes has varied over the years and bikes get updated / replaced to reflect that now and again.
