getting a song or tune stuck in your head for hours and hours.

Currently i have the theme tune from Heidi in my head .....you remember the 80's kids TV version .....i just wont go, i have tried everything to get rid of it.

By the way if you can remember that tune rest assured in a few mins it will be running around your head to.

I will be like my old (young) self again. No longer will I let things annoy me. I'm realistic, so probably some things will continue to annoy me, but I will let those annoyances past. Here are some things that come to mind that have annoyed me in the past:

Android.
People justifying high prices for things.
Marketing (giving reasons for high prices for things).
Confident people with no intelligence.
Intelligent people with no confidence.
People making a big deal between a 170mm and 160mm travel suspension fork.
The overly segmented bike market (you need a commuter bike to commute, a fitness bike for fitness, etc).

I am done with you, annoyance. No longer are you a thing to me.

Mis-use of cutlery. I find it even worse on TV/film, as someone must have wsatched them do it wrong and thought - "No, that's fine for this scene/character, carry on!"

This issue has NO EFFECT ON ME, so I should just ignore it - but it still annoys me.

Interesting tro choose Lincolnshire as the example, given it in turn has historically been subdivided into Kesteven, Lindsey and Holland. (I did most of my secondary Schooling in Grantham, which is in the Kesteven part of Lincs).

I shout at the screen when I see characters carrying, or apparently drinking from, what are obviously empty coffee cups. How hard is to make it realistic by actually giving them coffee, or even just water!

I am with you on that. It must (I assume) be down to practicalities but some actors just cannot carry it off and I find it annoying.

Or carrying obviously empty suitcases. They could put a few old clothes in just for ballast.

Details please. Which cutlery gets misused most often?

I did hear/read about this - it's a continuity thing. You don't want a character tipping a near-empty cup right back in one shot, then sipping from the top in the next!
