V. late to the party on this one, but recall that, as a child, when the tecaher said that a question would separate the sheep from the goats, I agonised over whether I should be aiming to be a sheep or a goat. To this day, I still don't know and my heart sinks to think of the teaching I lost because I was preoccupied with ovine-related matters.
We’ve taught all our children to be Shepherds not Sheep .... similar thing .... but it has backfired a few times ......:laugh:

Why did the Queen use those Daimlers in royal processions rather than Rolls Royces? I mean Rolls Royces are better, aren't they?

Why do they call it a "Stiff" drink ?
The term was actually coined to describe a dead English Admiral whose body was preserved in brandy. With the barrel being tapped by sailors to get at the alcohol.
Hence a "stiffs drink", shortened over time to a "stiff drink".
