No one's mentioned dressings. Vinaigrette, balsamic or caesar are obviously the go to ones. Vinaigrette is good for getting rid of lizards.

I got one of them in my salad on holiday
Discovered after I'd finished eating.
Happily it was still in one piece and I placed it on the bill.
Advised the waiter the added extra wasn't necessary, had a wee laughs about it though

Virg olive oil and an expensive balsamic. I realise the expensive word might prove a stumbling block.
