Cramming into the booths at the local record shop to listen to the latest 45s.^_^
Didn't they have perforated hardboard on the inside to keep the sound from escaping?

Holograms! Whatever happened to them? They were all the rage in the late 70's.
I can remember going to The Light Fantastic Exhibition at the Royal Acamemy in London. As the name implies it was fantastic.
The ones In particularly liked were the ones which projected out into the room and could be viewed from different angles.

Taken over by books of sird pictures, hated them!

The trick I was taught was to put your nose against the picture and then step back trying not to focus and the picture would appear......... By the time I reached the kitchen the whole picture was out of focus. I bought one of an F117 for ba fortune in 1990 and its sulking in the garage!

It took me a long while to manage to do it, it was a bit like letting your eyes drift out of focus. Once the image started to appear your eyes would lock onto it and it would become clearer. What I found fascinating was that small pictures of them in magazine adverts would also work.

I found it reasonably easy, probably something to do with wandering around with your eyes unfocussed.
