we brought wifeys trombone back from N Wales as her mum has moved out of the big house into sheltered accommodation.
I could always get a bit of a note from it as a kid but wasn't great. mini me who is 8 picked it up blew into it and got a perfect note. then proceeded to play a basic set of notes with the slide. little git.

well, in the house we have a
Piano, clarinet, guitar ( acoustic six string ) , trombone, recorder and he is pretty good at most of them. Hates the piano practice and complains he can't do it but regularly gets chosen to play at school plays. Little bugger can sing well too
I wish I had a smidge of the musical talent he does.

My boy is only 3 and has learned to ride a bike about 2 years before I did. He's also a keen footballer, which I was not. I think he'll be good at most things as he picks everything up really quickly. As long as he's happier than i was as a teenager that's all I can hope for!

Drama Queen has been in the Air Cadets since just before the summer holidays. Apparently, she's pretty good at drill, so she's better than I was already.
