Same here. Went for 3 lessons and just couldn't get my head round it.
£18 a lesson as well

Golf, I don't know why I wanted to play the game anyway, except that my younger brother was quite good at it. Took Lessons with a golf pro but really couldn't hit the ball in anything like a straight line.

My go lasted about three months and then I gave up. That was about thirty years ago.

Chess - I learned the moves, just never had the will to spend 2 hours of my life doing it without wanting to do something more interesting. Possibly why I never made the team at school.
